Wanted: the best sports stories of 2026 for the Amstelveen Sports Gala
The Amstelveen Sports Gala is the annual moment when we celebrate sport in Amstelveen. Sport is emotion. It is about more than just the result or a medal. Behind every sporting achievement lies a story. A thrilling final, an unexpected victory, a personal breakthrough, a volunteer who is always ready to help, or a moment that no one within the club will soon forget. For the Amstelveen Sports Gala on Friday, February 12, 2027, AmstelveenSport is looking for the most remarkable sports stories of 2026.
What was your sports moment of 2026?
Have you experienced a sporting moment this year that made an impression? Think of a special victory, a personal milestone, a powerful comeback, or a heartwarming moment within a team or club. AmstelveenSport invites everyone to share these stories. The best submissions will be given a platform during the Sports Gala, and entrants stand a chance to win exclusive VIP tickets for this festive evening.
In addition to the sports stories, submissions are also open for champions, Association of the Year, and Talent of the Year.
